Expert pinata makers put the finishing touches to pinatas of actress Kate del Castillo and druglord Joaquin Guzman aka ‘El Chapo’ in Reynosa, Mexico, on Thursday.The pair have proved popular with the public in the wake of the unfolding scandal of their relationship and Guzman’s specular recapture by Mexican police last week.
Pinatas are a Mexican Christmas tradition; families fill them with candy and children are allowed to smash the pinatas in order to get to the sweets.
