(PNS reporting from GUANAJUATO, MX) Francisco Garcia Lopez was named Most Mexican Man in the World in the final episode of Who Is More Mexican ? (¿Quién es más mexicano?) recorded here last night, PNS has learned.

Audience members exiting the taping at Teatro Televisio said that winner Lopez (publicity photo, above) had impressed the judges with his singular dedication.

Lopez, a 37-year-old bachelor attorney, “underwent extreme body modification, all the way down to his prickly pear,” one excited fan gushed.

Taping had to be stopped several times, she said, because Lopez’ surgical makeover is so realistic that other Mexicans onstage with him tried to take siestas underneath his arms whenever he stood still.

The edited version of the finale is scheduled to run on GueraVision in December.

The newly-built Teatro is high-tech multimedia production facility and a centerpiece project of Gov. Alejandro Ramirez Sanchez de Bernstein, who is looking to broaden the region’s economy. Until recently, the area was dependent on the sale of Guanajuato’s primary exports, guano and, of course, juato.
