Peru, the world’s largest producer of cocaine, has a new booming illicit business: gold, according to FUSION:

Illegal gold mining has surged in the South American country, the world’s fifth biggest gold exporter. A new Univision Investigative report shows that the criminal organizations that traffic illegal drugs have diversified and are now in the business of trading the precious metal.

diazprosecutor(PNS reporting from FERGUSON, MO) St. Louis County Prosecutor Robert P. McCulloch credits the ghost of notorious 19th Century Mexican dictator Porfirio Diaz with the legal theory that there was insufficient evidence to prosecute killer cop Darren Wilson.

In an interview with PNS Sunday, McCulloch said the ghost of Diaz visited him in a dream and provided legal advice on handling the Wilson grand jury, the official body investigating the shooting death of unarmed college student Michael Brown.

How did the Northern California district know this 7-year-old chica (screen cap from Merky News) was a law breaker? Well, they probably just suspected it at first, since she was one of a few brown-skinned Latina children in the overwhelmingly white elementary school. Then they hired a private investigator.
