(PNS reporting from TIO TACO, TENNESSEE) Jorge Fregado, executive director of the Hispanic Evangelical Legislative League (HELL), no longer supports the Trump Administration, he told friends here over the weekend.
Fregado (photo) — who hosted a party in Washington, D.C. over the night before the Inauguration — said he was disappointed by the GOP leader’s legislative agenda, and especially hurt since Trump attended his group’s gala celebration.
“He [Trump] surprised us all by showing up. He walked in and he was so handsome. Everyone wanted to meet him. So many tripped over themselves to introduce themselves” Luisa Vendida, the organization’s treasurer, told PNS.
Fregado remembers Trump asking him to dance. “I was just talking with friends, when I felt the tiniest hands pull me by the waist. It was Señor Trump. He took me out to the dance floor and he was an amazing dancer. I felt like I was gliding, flying really.”
“We danced all night and I was enchanted,” continued Fregado. But there was a moment that gave him pause.
“At the end, as we were staring into each other’s eyes, I looked down and Trump tenia patas de chivo. I thought it was the champagne and dancing, but now…” Fregado trailed off.
Fregado has only grown more concerned about the meaning of the Trump administration over the last months.
The largest rain event in U.S. history in Houston, the largest hurricane ever recorded in the Atlantic, and a massive earthquake off the coast of Mexico have finally convinced Fregado that he is not living through any normal administration.
He is living, he believes, through the Biblically-foretold End of Days:
