(PNS reporting from BOSTON) With the election totally over, Ann Romney is free to pursue her true passion: cooking dinner every night for her large family and sharing Romney recipes.
Here’s exclusive preview of the Breakfast Club section of Ann’s upcoming food blog The Electric Stove:
White Toast
This is a very old family recipe dating back generations!
Little known fact: my Great Aunt Jebadisa was a leading pioneer in the Women’s Pre-Sliced White Bread Movement. When I think about the sacrifices she made, slicing each piece individually and toasting each slice by candle fire, I nearly break down and weep.
Thanks to her gallant efforts, people everywhere can enjoy this amazing recipe. Show your support for women by breaking out your finest china!

Water with a Lemon Wedge
This is a great recipe for when I’m feeling rebellious (I don’t even wear an apron!)
*Note: I prefer lemons from Mexico — that way I know for sure they were picked by self-deporters.
USA! USA!

Rice Crispies
You’re probably thinking, Whoa Ann! This is a wholesome tasty breakfast and everything but it’s a little gosh darn loud!
It’s true; your neighbors might complain about the noise, but then you can just invite them in for a quick baptizing (make lemon water out of lemons!)
If you’re anything like me, you’ll find that the snap, crackle, pop drowns out the noise of your own self-hatred. 🙂
